Red Velvet Cupcakes

These Red Velvet Cupcakes are delicious, moist and so incredibly fluffy you'll definitely want to eat more than one. 

In addition, they're topped with a big dollop of strawberry buttercream that's creamy with the right amount of tartness for this cupcake.

Ingredients

- Cake Flour - Natural Cocoa Powder - Unsalted Butter - Granulated Sugar - Buttermilk

Place the beaters and the bowl for the heavy cream in the refrigerator.

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line the cupcake pan(s) with cupcake liners.

Step 2

Sift the flour and cocoa into a large bowl to remove lumps.  Add the baking powder, baking soda and salt and whisk to combine.

Step 3

In a large bowl beat the butter and the sugar with a handheld mixer on low for about 30 seconds until the ingredients are combined then increase the speed to medium-high.
