Meyer Lemon Tart

This Meyer Lemon Tart is tart and buttery at the same time. Creamy, fruity Meyer lemon curd is combined with a nutty sweet crust for an amazingly tasty dessert.

A lemon tart is one of the versatile desserts in that it goes with almost any meal.

Ingredients

- Unbleached All Purpose Flour - Granulated Sugar - Almond Flour - Egg  - Unsalted Butter

Place the butter and salt in the bowl of a stand mixer and mix on medium speed until the butter is creamy and the ingredients are combined.

Step 1

Add the powdered sugar and mix on low just until the ingredients are combined. Add the almond flour and vanilla extract and mix on low just until the ingredients are combined.

Step 2

Next, add the eggs and part of the flour, mix them in and then add the remaining flour. Mix on low until the flour is incorporated. Do not overmix the dough.

Step 3

Divide the dough into two equal parts and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. You only need half the dough for this recipe so the other half can be frozen.
