CRANBERRY CURD

My homemade recipe for cranberry curd is creamy, wonderfully tart, and requires only 30 minutes of hands-on time before the curd is chilled in the refrigerator for 3 hours

Chop the cranberries  in the bowl of a food processor.  We're able to get more flavor out chopped cranberries than whole cranberries

Step 1

Combine the cranberries, sugar, and orange zest in a large saucepan

Step 2

Cook the ingredients until the cranberries are soft, and the sugar is dissolved and the mixture has thickened

Step 3

Cover the surface of the curd with plastic wrap and chill for at least 3 hours or overnight.  The curd will noticeably thicker.
